TESTE DEIN WISSEN
1.Fenestrated endothelium of glomerular capillaries-Fenestartion allow all blood components to enter except blood cells
2.Basement membrane-(Lies between the two other layers and is composed of their laminae
-it forms a physical barrier that blocks all but smallest proteins while allowing most other solutes to pass through.
3.Foot process of podocytes of the glomerular capsule-The visceral layer of the glomerular capsule is made of podocytes that have filtration slits between their foot processes.

TESTE DEIN WISSEN
We have the renal cortex...which is light coloured and has a granular appearance..
Deep to it we find the renal medulla which is dark reddish brown in appearance
And has tissue masses called medullary/renal pyramid
The BASE of the pyramid faces towards the cortex
The APEX forms the renal papillae(and points internally)
-Renal columns separates renal pyramids
-Renal pelvis is continous with the Ureter leaving the hilum
-Branching extentions of the pelvis form 2 to 3 major calyces
-Major calcyces subdivide into minor calcyes
