Seven-week module focusing on molecular mechanisms of diseases related to mutated proteins in organelles, immune system, mitochondria, and extracellular matrix. Covers flow cytometry, surface plasmon resonance, gene expression analysis, and mitochondrial dysfunction measurements.

Laboratory Project Module
Twelve-week research project in a self-chosen research group where students develop deeper understanding of experimental methods and techniques. Two such modules must be completed in different research groups.
