Methadone is a partial mu opioid agonist. It has a slow onset of action and a long half life. The dosages are 80 to 150mg. It works by activating opioid receptors in the brain which prevents withdrawal symptoms and cravings for illicit drugs

  • If the ulcer is associated with NSAIDs . The proton pump inhibitors should be used or H2 antagonist for 8 weeks
