Hormone sind chemische Botenstoffe, mit der der Körper Stoffwechsel- und Kreislaufreaktionen steuert. Sie werden von Drüsen gebildet ins Blut abgegeben und wirken über Rezeptoren so an den Zielzellen.

Was sind die 6 Aufgaben des Hormonsystems?

  • Steuerung von
    • Wachstum und Entwicklung
    • Blutdruck
    • Geschlechtsorgane, Sexualverhalten, Schwangerschaft
    • Verdauungsvorgänge
  • Aufrechterhaltung Elektrolyt- und Wasserhaushalt 
  • Regelung von Energiehaushalt, Stoffwechsel- und Kreislaufreaktionen

Hormonsystem

Wie Unterscheidet sich das Nervensystem vom Hormonsystem?

  • Nervensystem reagiert innerhalb von Sekunden und leitet Reize schneller weiter als Hormonsystem, reagiert auf elektrische Impulse
  • Hormonsystem können Reaktionen erst nach Tagen oder Monaten erfolgen, z.B. Menstruationszyklus oder Schwangerschaft, reagieren auf chemische Botenstoffe
