  • Botenstoffe, die von Hormondrüsen  (endokrinen Drüsen) produziert und mit dem Blut im Körper verteilt werden. 
  • Wirkung an spezifischen Zielorten durch spezifische Rezeptoren, die eine Reaktion bewirken.
  • In äußerst geringer Konzentration wirksam.

  • Synthese "klassischer Hormone"
  • Ohne eigenen Ausführgang
  • Hormone werden ins Blut ausgeschüttet und dort transportiert.

  • Mit Ausführgang 
  • Substanz wird nach "außen" abgegeben.
  • Schweiß - Schweißdrüsen
  • Duftstoffe - Duftdrüsen
  • Schleim - Schleimdrüsen
  • Verdauungssekrete - Drüsen im Magen-/Darmtrakt

  • Auf benachbarte Zellen
  • Durch Diffusion
  • Parakrin = Signalsubstanz, die über die Zellzwischenräume der Nachbarzellen zugespielt wird.

  • Von Zelle selbst produziert  -> Zelle stimuliert sich selbst.
  • Bsp.: Wachstumsfaktoren
  • Durch Diffusion

  • Endokrin wird von endokrinen Drüsen produziert.
  • Wird global im Kreislauf verteilt.
  • Weite Strecken
  • Transport über Blut

  • Neurohormone
  • Gelangen über die Blutbahn zu den Zielzellen und lösen dort eine Antwort aus.

  • Über Nervensystem (synaptische Übertragung) - (elektrische Signale und chemische Botenstoffe = Transmitter - Parakrin)
  • über endokrines System - vom Blut verteilte chemische Botenstoffe = Hormone, z.B. Insulin von endokrinen Drüsen produziert.
  • neuroendokrine - Freisetzung am Ende eines Axons in Blutkapillaren, z.B. Neurohyphysenhormone (Adiuretin, Oxytocin)
