Since the campus is mostly in the city center, you can get anywhere quickly from the university. Mainz city center and the banks of the Rhine are very beautiful, especially in summer, and invite you to linger. The three bridges tour along the Rhine and Main also offers many attractive perspectives. If you prefer to see mountains, you can drive to the Rheinhessen vineyards with little effort. In general, everything you need for your studies is available in the city of Mainz. For city trips with the semester ticket, we recommend the cities of Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Marburg, Koblenz and Fulda and of course a trip into nature.
