Bei der Berechnung von booleschen Ausdrücken muss beachtet werden, dass ¬ stets zuerst ausgewertet wird. Die Operatoren ^und v werden immer linksassoziativ ausgewertet, das heisst wir beginnen mit der Auswertung von Links, also in Leserichtung. Durch klammern kann die Abfolge der Auswertung deutlich gemacht werden.

A v ¬B = A v (¬B)
Insbesondere gelten die Regeln von de Morgan. Regeln für das Ausklammern
¬(A ^B) = ¬A v ¬B
¬(A v B) = ¬A ^¬B
