What was the process of drafting the constitution? Explain in brief.
Constitution was drafted first by the Drafting Committee. The articles from the draft were then submitted to the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly one by one, and amendments suggested on them by the members. The decision was taken to keep/scrap the same by a simple majority vote.

Indira Gandhi started a borrowing program from IMF in 1981, which was carried out throughout the Rajiv Gandhi tenure as well. The excessive borrowing eventually resulted in Balance of Payments crisis. Rajiv wanted to look non-pro business.
