Identify leak for location and type. If leak is a STAIN, or a SEEP which does not permit fuel to get into an enclosed area, no cor-rective action is necessary. Initiate DMI to ensure leak will be monitored and repaired. If leak is a SEEP into an enclosed area, or if it is a. RUNNING LEAK or a DRIPPING LEAK, cor-rective action must be taken. NOTE: For "Repair Procedures, " refer to the Aircraft Maintenance Manual Chapter 28-XX-X and Structural. Repair Manual Chapter 51-X-XX. The idea behind fuel leak repair is to determine if the leak is of a minor nature and cannot result in an unsafe condition, or if it is so serious that it must be repaired before dispatch. Any fuel leak can become dangerous and, for that reason, should be watched until it can be permanently re-paired. NOTE: It is good maintenance policy to check for fuel leaks. after fuel g. Zur Sicherheit sind mindestens zwei Behälterpumpen in einem Tank installiert.
