At the Bergische Universität Wuppertal you can choose your favorite course from a total of nine faculties. The faculties of the University of Wuppertal include the humanities and cultural sciences, human and social sciences, economics (Schumpeter School of Business and Economics), mathematics and natural sciences, as well as the faculty for architecture and civil engineering, for electrical engineering, information technology and media technology, for Mechanical engineering and safety technology, for design and art and, last but not least, the School of Education, where teaching staff receive university training. How is the campus of the University of Wuppertal divided and where can I find what?
The BUW has a total of three campus areas: The main building of the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, as well as the university library, are located on the Grifflenberg campus in the suburb of Elberfeld. There is also the Freudenberg campus, which is also located in Elberfeld. And the third part of the campus is the Haspel campus in Unterbarmen. There are sub-libraries of the BUW university library on every campus.
